Dance off at the Target Center
 Our incredible Arthur Murray staff and students had the chance to Dance with the Stars at the Target Center on January 3rd. Dancing with the Stars: The Tour came to Minneapolis and asked ten of our couples to come and start off the show! We had a very enthusiastic crowd cheering everybody on while we danced the crazy Cha Cha! From that Cha Cha 5 couples where chosen to dance a Wild Jive/American Swing. And eventually the judges whittled it down to the final 2! Miss Daria Husak and Danny Ross along with Mr Tom McCarvel and Karena Shackel got the chance to dance a solo for the entire audience to vote for. Daria & Danny did an exciting Swing while Tom & Karena chose to show us how to Cha Cha! While Daria & Danny did an incredible job, Tom & Karena won the Soft Scrub Challenge and took home the first place prize! Congratulations to both of our winners and the rest of our courageous dancers. We would like to thank Dayton & Elyse Smith, Rolf & Mary Garborg, Rick and Voni Cameron, Greg & Sue Prasch, Jim Schuchman & Carol Tonkin, Patsy Gerde & Andy Popp, Barb Elmore & Sho Rich, Judy Bobnick & Kenny Smith for showing such great support of Dancing with the Stars and the Arthur Murray Dance Studio! |
